The Beginning
A Conversation That Wouldn't End
Desert Vibes was founded in Qatar with one simple belief — that the most important conversations happen away from the noise. Inspired by the stillness of the desert and the richness of Gulf culture, we set out to create a space where artists, entrepreneurs, and thinkers could speak freely.
What started as informal recordings between friends quickly grew into something larger. Guests began arriving from across the Arab world and beyond. Episodes were shared, clipped, debated. The desert had found its voice.
Today, Desert Vibes spans over 50 episodes, a curated art collection, live events across Doha, and a community of listeners who believe — as we do — that depth is never out of style.
The desert doesn't rush. Neither do we.

Artist in Residence
The creative force behind the Desert Vibes visual world. Sampath works across painting and sculpture — from sweeping landscape canvases and botanical studies to intricate bronze and ceramic sculptural forms. His work doesn't decorate spaces; it commands them.
Paintings
Paintings that move between the intimate and the epic — moonlit bird studies, explosive abstract triptychs, vivid botanicals, and seascapes painted with the patience of someone who has stood at the edge of the ocean and waited.
Sculptures
Sculptural works in bronze, ceramic, and mixed media that explore tension, abundance, and the beauty of things in motion — goblets mid-pour, fish bursting through walls, branches reaching toward vessels that overflow.
